Excuses are useless, everyone has them.
I plan to catch up with everyone's blogs tomorrow - hope everyone is doing well :)
My life in first grade was rather chaotic for the first official "full week". On Friday, one little girl puked three times (all over the table, on the other children's homework, and the supplies...in the hallway, and up the stairs). Next, the girl across from her instantly reacted and spilled her bright red juice (this was during snack time) all over AND later in the day we had three breakdowns...needless to say, the kids were exhausted from a LONG week and needed the weekend, badly.
(...and so did Miss Erin)
BUT...
I wanted to make a note and recommend that every one should see "The Help"
It is a truly inspiring movie that really documents life's history, while still encompassing a large dose of humor and a wonderful storyline.
I really think it was one of the best movies I have seen in years!

no need for apologies. your readers will surely understand that bloggers have lives outside of the internet. oh, i'm sorry that i never warned you about puke. i have seen way too many puking children and other things during my teaching days. you may not see it this way yet, but it's part of the fun. i'm so excited for you.
Oh wow. Sounds like your first week was full of Grade 1 dramas! But you made it!!! You don't ever have to apologise for being busy. Everyone understands that blog land has to go on hiatus sometimes. Looking forward to having you back though. I love hearing teacher stories. Have a great week lovely!

oh no what chaos.... at least 'hopefully' all the bad stuff happened in the first week, so now you will have a smooth hassle-free year =)
oh my goodness that sounds like a very interesting first week! I hope it's all going well though and you're enjoying it :)
It can be difficult to find time for blogging sometimes - I think it's better to have a break sometimes rather than it turning into a chore :)
Looking forward to hearing some more teaching stories and further posts :)
