Me, Myself, and I

*******
I have a couple new readers/subscribers and it still continues to shock me that people are truly interested in my daily musings and not so well formulated writings of a "somewhat typical" (besides health) twenty-something year old.
I am not the type of blogger who writes posts just to please their followers, but instead, I type freely about whatever is on my mind at that random given moment - and who really knows what that will end up being...
So I decided that I would make some fun (positive) lists of things that will help you get to know me just a smidgen-bit more :)

- Here goes nothing -

[I Like...]

Hot Apple Cider

Crisp fall nights where a sweater is needed :) Picture perfect!

Taking walks at night

Having a pet - it is SO comforting during times of distress

Posting quotations up around my apartment to brighten a day and think positive!

Embracing and learning about other cultures and traditions <3

The little blog awards that are occasionally passed around this blogging world :)
It makes me feel like people actually enjoy my random thoughts
{I was lucky enough to be graced with two awards this past week}

 ------------
This first is the Liebster Award
The Liebster Award is meant to connect us even more and spotlight NEWER BLOGGERS who have less than 200 followers (but hopefully not for long).
The rules are:
1. Show your thanks to the blogger who gave you the award by linking back to them.
2. Reveal your top 5 picks and let them know by leaving a comment on their blog.
3. Post the award on your blog.
4. Bask in the love from the most supportive people on the Internet – other writers.
5. And best of all – have fun and spread the karma!

- About the sender -
I like love the blog "Far from the Mocking World" as told by the inspiring Kaisha.
The reason: No - it's not what you are thinking. I am not writing something about this wonderful author because the so called "rules" say to, but because she truly deserves a little recognition :)
Personally, I happen to think that she is one of the most real and thought provoking bloggers out there. She doesn't care about the attention and what some may call "popularity" of the blogging world - her passion comes from within and you can really tell :) Go check our her blog, as I know you will love it as much as I do <3

Here are my FIVE picks in no particular order

---------------
The second is the "Sunshine Award"
This award was given to me by a lovely lady that I have just recently started to follow
Her name is Holz and her blog is "Galaxy Glamour"
She is a wonderful writer about all things fashion and beautiful!

This award makes me think of other blogs and people who never cease to amaze me. They have left some of the nicest comments (even though I don't even know these people, at times I feel like we've been friends for quite some time).
Here are some ladies who always seem to be a little ray of sunshine and make me smile :)

& thank you everyone who reads my blog<3

oh my gosh, thank you so much for the award!

apple ciders are the best! don't start about student loans..wwaaahhh... my world would be a better place without it, but i'm not related to paris hilton so i had to invest on my education (and i'm paying for it, every cent...ugh!).

ipad is cool, but only for travel, e-mailing and such because it is sooo not like a laptop and some blogging formats don't always work. it's still cool but to be honest, i've only used mine when i am out of town.

Congrats on the blog awards! It's always nice to be recognized. I also write what I feel like writing, not what I think people want to hear. My blog is my best friend. "She" hears me complain about what's bothering me, celebrate what's making me happy, laugh at the funny things in life, and offers me a shoulder (well, keyboard) to cry on when needed. If someone happens to come along and read these interactions I have with my "bestie", great. If not, oh well. I still get what I need out of my relationship with my blog. :o)

@InHerShoes - Of course! I love your blog :) Haha and yes, if only we were the Hiltons or something - life would be SO much easier *regarding money* haha

Oh, and good to know about the iPad. I also want it for the classroom, too! Well see :/ It will probably just remain on my wish list forever...

@Robin - Thanks! I love how you call your blog your best friend. I agree through, that's a great wa to describe it. I am so particular with it and feel that it is pretty special to me. It holds my feelings, thoughts, and emotions that I type... pretty deep sometimes! I hope things are going well for you :) Take care!!

I really enjoyed reading this post and getting to know you a little better :) good for you, you should blog about whatever you want to and whatever is important to you. I find myself feeling a bit lost in the blogging world sometimes; I think the best thing we can do is stay totally true to ourselves :)
you deserve the lovely awards for your lovely blog :D

Well. We can chalk that up to a fail on the blog award acceptance totem pole. You, my friend, never ever EVER cease to amaze me in the strong, amazing vibes you UNFAILINGLY put out there every day. There is no one I look up to more than you and there is absolutely no one I can think of that would be better suited to be a teacher - those children are some of the most blessed people I can think of. Thank you again!
PS. I LOVE THAT QUILT (as you know! :)
