What's your excuse?

Do you let negative things in your life get to you?

Everyone has challenges whether they are big or small.
but what is really important... what will make the biggest impact on your life -
is how you tackle those challenges.
 --------------------
In class tonight, we learned about an inspirational man named, John Foppe.
Who is this man you might ask?

John Foppe is a motivational speaker who happened to be born with no arms.
He has such a powerful way of capturing his audience and helping them realize their potential by assuring them that nothing impossible and you can accomplish anything you put your mind to with dedication and perseverance.
**and he practices what he preaches!**

Take a look at this short 10 minute clip -
It will open your eyes to all the possibilties that life holds for us and will make you look at life a little differently...or at least I hope it will :)
Anything is possible

How do you make the most of your life?

Don't let those little things get to you!

hey girl! when i was younger, i certainly did let negative things get to me. it didn't help that i was an angry teenager who thought the world was always against me. my mom always told me that if i let every single negative thing lead my life, i'm not going to be able to move on to where i wanna be. she was right, that smart woman. now that i'm wwaayy older, i usually just shrug it and keep it movin'. it's easier said than done, but it is possible.

Sometimes it's hard not to let the negatives get to you. However, you are right that it is the way we deal with things that really matters.

I sometimes get overwhelmed with all the negatives, but all it takes to get me out of the mood is to look at my husband, the life we have today, our accomplishments, and what our future holds for us. A pint of Ben and Jerry's usually does the trick too. :-)

I hadn't seen the video or heard about John, but thank you for sharing. This story is very inspirational.

This was definitely something I needed to read this week! Wow, that man is amazing. People like that inspire me daily to reach out to my full potential. I try and make the most of my life by living each day like it was my last. I really firmly believe that if you treat people how you want to be treated then only good can come of that! Thank you so much for your kind words last week, they meant a lot to me x

P.s. Bachelorette this week... I CANNOT believe Bentley is in that damn hotel! Like come on man!
